Bell Tent Village Accommodation at Phasels Wood, Hertfordshire

Our two bell tented villages are perfect for bringing schools and groups together in an inspiring woodland setting during the warmer months.

Designed to add to the adventure and help you create a real sense of community while you’re on camp, both bell-tented villages have their own games and chill-out areas with table-tennis and giant games for children, a group campfire for the evenings and a teacher tipi for the adults, complete with refreshments and fire pit to relax together at the end of the day.

Adventure with a splash of comfort

Children love the adventure of sleeping in a tent with friends, thriving on the excitement of a full camping experience, while teachers enjoy the calming atmosphere of our well-equipped adult tents - the ideal place to unwind after a busy day of activities.

And although you’re in the outdoors, there are still plenty of facilities on hand to keep you comfortable, including night toilets with motion-sensored lighting and a dedicated shower block with an adult-only shower.

A great option for the warmer months

The opportunity to see the children flourish in a new setting was lovely, and the Rootd staff made us all feel so welcome and at ease. We will be back next year!
