Our School Trip Reviews
Children, teachers, schools and parents love our trips

What primary and secondary schools say about our residential trips
Schools are continually impressed by the quality of our residential trips and the dedication of our Rootd team to deliver the best trip they can for students.
If we had an acorn for every time were were told how amazing our residential trips were or how the children said the leaders were amazing, our woodland would be double the size!
Here's just some of our recent testimonials...

An outstanding experience that created lasting memories for our children
We brought 73 Year 5 children, many of whom had never been camping, spent time in nature, or even stayed away from home before.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by your fantastic team. Even when our second coach was delayed, the staff remained calm, patient, and understanding—helping everything run smoothly and setting a positive tone for the whole experience.
The activities were a real highlight of the trip. From scavenger hunts and bushcraft to abseiling, archery, and crate stacking, every session was thoughtfully organised, engaging, and perfectly suited to the age group. Considering we only stayed one night, it was incredible how much we were able to fit in! The talent show on the final evening was a fantastic way to end the experience—full of laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments.
Overall, this was an outstanding experience that created lasting memories for our children. Thank you so much for helping to make it so special—we truly can’t wait to return!

Amazing opportunity for our children to overcome their fears and push themselves out of their comfort zones. We especially loved high ropes, abseiling and Shane's spontaneous games. We couldn't have asked for more - it met every need and expectation we had and then some!
