At Rootd, we offer immersive outdoor residential trips for primary and secondary schools from our convenient Hertfordshire location. We cater for large group sizes of up to 216 children, and with pod accommodation on site, our residentials run all year round.

Many schools come to us after previous residentials with big trip providers, which can feel impersonal, rushed and crowded.   As a smaller, independent company we’re focused on delivering exceptional, individual experiences for schools that create a real sense of adventure – which means we do things a bit differently.

What make us different?

our woodland accommodation

Our inspiring pod and bell tent accommodation gives you an outdoor experience that feels adventurous, yet manageable.

Children experience the best of both worlds – the excitement of sleeping close to nature, combined with the reassurance of nearby facilities, such as night-time toilets and motion sensor lighting.
