As a family-run organisation, we are driven by the impact of our work. We know how important it is for children to spend time in the great outdoors. And we also know that not every child has that opportunity. So, we are changing things for the better.

Our holiday residential trips and summer camps have been introduced to make the experience more meaningful, relevant, and accessible to everyone, regardless of race, religion, or personal circumstances.

Rootd residential trips for charities and groups provide a wonderful opportunity for children to get out into nature. When faced with group challenges, children form bonds. When pushed, they challenge themselves. When they have space to explore, they experience life differently.

Financial Support for Charities

We work with charitable organisations to provide affordable trips, ensuring everyone can enjoy incredible experiences without financial strain. Additionally, we are able to offer discounts and extra support for charitable organisations that support young people. To make our residential trips even more accessible, we provide free leader places for every 10 children and have a choice of trips to suit all budgets available during half-terms, Easter, and summer holidays.

Bespoke and Flexible Trip Programmes

At Rootd we understand that your group may have additional support needs and we will work with you to adapt our activities, accommodation, and programmes to meet the requirements of your group.

You can choose from one of our specially designed adventure or bushcraft programmes, tailored to provide thrilling experiences and valuable skills in the great outdoors. Our adventure programmes are jam-packed with exciting activities such as archery, climbing, and high ropes, all guided by experienced instructors who prioritise safety and fun. Alternatively, our bushcraft programmes immerse participants in the art of survival skills, teaching essential techniques like shelter building, fire making, and foraging, allowing everyone to connect with nature on a deeper level.

We offer all-inclusive and varied activity programmes that provide excellent value for money.
