Activities that celebrate teamwork and resilience

Developing students’ life skills and building their resilience as they explore the outdoors is the aim of our trips.  We will design the ideal for you, incorporating activities that we know will bring out the best in your students.

Through outdoor adventure, we encourage independent thinking, creativity and teamwork – skills that will benefit them all once they’re back in the classroom.

Trained leaders always on hand to help

Our trip leaders aren’t just there to show you around and lead the activities, they’re there to get involved and become one of the group.

They'll take the time to get to know each and every student, building relationships with them and responding to their needs and interests on a personal level.  And they want to be as hands-on-as possible, so you can relax and enjoy the time with your students.

Quick travel times, happy children

Within an hour of Central London, our woodland centre is easily accessible from London and the South East, which means quick travel times and happier children. Instead of spending hours cooped up on a coach, they can make the most of their time exploring the outdoors.

Less rushing, more time for fun

Our trips are about creating a fully immersive experience for children, not just rushing them through a list of activities.

In contrast to trips run by bigger providers, as well as enjoying some exciting activities, children also have time to relax, think and reflect on their experience.

Great value trips for schools

We want to make our trips as accessible to as many children as possible, from one-day adventures to three-night residential stays, we’ve got the perfect option for every budget and age-group.

Our shorter one and two-night residential school trips can offer all the excitement of longer residential trips. You’ll still enjoy action-packed days filled with adventurous activities.

Captivating campfires

An overnight outdoor adventure wouldn’t be the same without a good sing song around the campfire, and it’s often the highlight of the trip for many children.  It gives them time to talk, sing and tell stories together, and it can be a great bonding experience.

And with our trip leaders on hand dishing out biscuits and serving hot chocolate, it gives you the chance to unwind alongside your students and enjoy some special time together as a class.

Frequent questions about Residential school trips

Residential trips are school excursions that span more than 1 day, requiring students to stay overnight away from home. These trips typically focus on activities that can't be undertaken in the classroom. For example in the great outdoors where children can learn and enjoy a sense of adventure under safe supervision. Residential trips often serve as a child's first experience of being away from their family.
