The Rootd team standing in the woods

At Rootd, we’re passionate about the positive impact outdoor adventure can have on a child’s character development and wellbeing. We love seeing children thrive in the freedom of the outdoors, where they can switch off and really live in the moment.

If you feel the same and you’re looking for your next role in outdoor education, then we’d love to hear from you.

What we look for

Our school residential trips aren’t just about running back-to-back activities. We want to create an immersive nature-focused experience for children, where they’re free to learn and explore, away from the worries and distractions of daily life.

So, we’re looking for enthusiastic, proactive, energetic team members who are passionate about nature and ready to get stuck in to deliver a truly memorable school trip. You’ll have great communication skills and be quick to think on your feet. You’ll also be a great team player and love working as part of a team of likeminded people.

Why join team Rootd?

Spending time in the outdoors has so many benefits for children. From improving physical and mental health to increasing creativity and building problem-solving skills, the positive impact of being in nature can be huge.

At Rootd, our back-to-basics Bushcraft and Explorer activities focus on connecting children with nature and opening their eyes to the potential for adventure in the great outdoors.
