girls outside bell-tent on residential trip

The adventure starts with our accommodation

Image

With a choice of woodland pods, eco pods and bell tents, our accommodation gives you an exciting outdoor experience in a safe and manageable setting.

Children experience the fun of sleeping close to nature, combined with the reassurance of nearby facilities, such as night toilets and motion sensor lighting.

For many schools, this can be a welcome change from more traditional dormitory-style accommodation.

        Shared spaces for downtime

Our pod, eco pod and bell tent villages are all designed to bring groups together during downtime, which gives children the chance to mix and build closer bonds with their classmates.

During the day, children love spending time in our chill-out areas, which are equipped with table tennis and other games. And at night, our campfire group sing-a-longs are always a highlight for schools.

        Accommodation reviews

A lovely woodland environment for our students to enjoy

Highlights including watching the children taking steps into making new friendships and the downtime spent in our bell-tents and on camp. Rootd had created a really lovely woodland environment
Parmiters, Year 7, Tree Tops camp

Some of the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in

All the staff were incredible, so kind, caring, helpful and knowledgeable about the nature and wildlife of the setting. Lastly, the accommodation is some of the best I've ever stayed in, in 30+ years of primary school residential visits. Thank you so much!

        Camp chill-out areas were fantastic

The teacher chill out areas were fantastic. Really great to have a seating area where you can have a view of the children settling down for the night

        We loved the teacher pods!

Layout and design of the pod village is fantastic. We loved the teacher pods! Boys enjoyed their pods too. Having everything nearby was really helpful. A really well-designed area.
